After the inauguration of President Trump on 20th January 2025, the formal reshaping of US government will occur. This term would ostensibly see an America looking to become self-contained and leading the way in world events, whilst believing they are ushering a “golden age,” after Mr Trump being allegedly, “saved by God to make America great again” and that a “revolution of common sense” will be the result. The speech has received criticism worldwide, largely due to a sense of universal skepticism.

The proposals of the forthcoming government appear to be regressive, in essence, regarding gender identity issues, repatriation if the Panama Canal, renaming the Gulf of Mexico, etc. There have been other, rather disturbing schemes involving scrutiny on social media platforms, with a preference toward opinion rather than truth and alarming rhetoric from certain members of the new US government appearing on these platforms.

However, what is most disconcerting is the rise of homegrown militias in the US.
After the civil war, each colony had a small militia to defend against the French and Native Americans if required, and George Washington relied on militias whilst he was trying to form a regular army. These militias over time have changed and are now part of the USA’s subculture, having no approval, save from those patriots who may have misguided ideals. If the presidency had been won by a Democrat candidate, civil war may have been on the horizon and those ready to take up arms would quite happily do so, but under Trump, the militias are seemingly quietened, as his popular policies reflect the beliefs of said armies. In essence, this means that several homegrown, independent militias are potentially under the ditection of the current president.

Aside from the aforementioned, the late addition to reform before the inauguration of retained Section 702 of FISA means that they wish to remain part of the broader intelligence community. It had been assumed that the Americans would retreat from less obvious international observation and be less active in intelligence circles, with the emphasis being on the building the resilience required for autarky. This is curious to say the least.

In conclusion, if is felt that this administration is given to improvisation, with the real agenda being obfuscated by this chaotic behaviour. Given that the United States of America is one of the largest powers in the world, this backward posturing is perculiar. When the true nature of this chaos reveals itself, we will understand why they have done so.
  It is the opinion of 23th-inc that if the Americans are led by a leader, “saved by God,” that they would be more active with issues in Sudan, Myanmar, Haiti amongst other places. Instead, they have become selfish and closed off. With numerous private armies, hiding the truth and a “revolution of common sense,” it is feared that this orchestrated chaos, designed to destabilise the US by external actors, so a more appropriate government can installed in the future. This would mean that Mr Trump and his staff are puppets of another system.
